It all Depends on what you want to do in the game. If you want to just dogfight then the hornet package is probably for you. Want to haul some cargo but also have a chance of putting up a fight than go the freelancer. Small time bounty hunter, best to get the avenger. Once you figure out your role a ship can be found for you.

Its the starter ship but tailored for a dog fighting role. If you later decide on something better you can upgrade the pledge ship to a better ship while keeping the rest of the pledge intact.

At the moment there is no wrong way. For group ops we are lacking an avenger warlock which is an electronic warfare kind of ship (EWAR) that has an EMP that can knock out ships. But since the game is not out we cant tell really what the group dynamics are going to be like when flying. Dogfighters will always be needed because what could be wrong with more BOOM!

As Dev said it depends on what happens when the game goes live..... you dont need to be a supportive class to us ... you can just do what you want to do


I myself want to be like The crew of Firefly / Serenity ... so I am buying stuff for that purpose
