The Conny ..... All the variants just seem like different classes of the Millennium Falcon ... or more accurately the Corellian YT-1300...

The Andromeda is the best all rounder ship, a nice cargo hold plenty of firepower and also enough slots to go exploring. If you want to explore its basically broken into these tiers

Ultra: Carrack, the ultimate explorer
High: Aquila, it might need a crew of 3 to be at 100% efficiency
Medium: Freelancer DUR, a 2 person explorer. Loses some of its cargo hold for better fuel tanks and sensors
Low: 315p, solo explorer that has the advantage of being able to go into the small wormholes
